*CMCC Ramadan Quran Competition 1444/2023 Results*
Dear brothers and sisters,
Alhamdulillah, we had this year 76 contestants in the Ramadan Quran competition.
We had
11 Adults and 65 Children. 🥰🥰🥰
The tests were done by 14 examiners divided into 7 panels.
All contestants of the same level were examined by the same panel to ensure fair and consistent testing.
We are grateful to Ahmad Khadadah’s Holy Quran Annual Award 🤲🏽
and the Canterbury mosque committee for providing the required funds to cover the competition cost (prizes, hall hire and award ceremony).
We tried our best this year to improve the competition process to make it easier, more interesting and definitely fair for everyone.
Our main aim of this competition is to encourage everyone to memorise and recite Quran.
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ
{And We [i.e Allah] have certainly made the Qur’an easy remembrance, so is there any who will remember?} (54:17)
Due to the construction work in the mosque, we could not have the tests in person in the mosque as we did in 2022.
Thus, all the tests were arranged online on 20 May 2023.
We appreciate the cooperation of the contestants and their parents that they showed during all the competition stages.
We thank all the examiners (listed below) for their remarkable efforts and dedication. We would not be able to accomplish this without you.👍🏽👍🏻👍🏾👍🏿

We arranged the Quran Competition Award Ceremony on 18 June 2023 with help from several volunteers.
We started the ceremony with a Quran recitation from Brother Eslam Elnashar for the first page of Surat Yassin (Chapter 36).
Then, Imam Abdul Haqq Raffaele had given an important talk about the importance of memorising the Quran and the reward from Allah. Next, our trustee Dr Sinan Al-Rawi gave a talk about the past and future of CMCC.
After that, the results were announced, and the winners were called to the stage to receive their certificates and prizes and to have a photo with the Imam.
Finally, if you have any comments or feedback regarding any aspect of the competition, please feel free to contact us. 🕌❤️
Inshaa Allah, we will consider all your input to improve the way we conduct the competition the next time.
Jazakm Allah Khayrn.
