Fundraising During the Last 10 Nights of Ramadan – Canterbury Mosque
Dear brothers and sisters,
As we enter the blessed last ten nights of Ramadan, we would like to share with you the planned fundraising collections at the mosque. These collections will take place during Taraweeh prayers, and we kindly encourage everyone to support generously.
Fundraising Schedule:
📅 Monday 09/03/2026
Collection for Masjid running costs and maintenance.
📅 Wednesday 11/03/2026
Collection for the Gaza Appeal to help provide essential basic needs for our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
📅 Friday 13/03/2026
Collection for Qari Abdullah Kandil, to thank him for his service and dedication during Ramadan.
📅 Sunday 15/03/2026
Collection to support Canterbury Mosque Islamic School, helping us provide the best possible education for our community.
📅 Tuesday 17/03/2026
Collection for Masjid maintenance.
These are the most blessed nights of the year, and charity given during this time carries immense reward.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.”
