Asalamu Alaikum,
This is a short update on the progress made on the mosque extension project.
- All steelworks have been completed.
- The first floor had been opened up.
- Wuda area structure is in coming along both men and women.
- The plant room structure is coming along.
- The ground floor’s final structural layout is underway.
- Drainage upgrade options are underway.
- The first floor soundproof options are being considered.
- The contractors have put in place a schedule with double teams and longer working days to give us a usable space for Ramadan.
- There have been reports of a number of breaks in to the mosque and broken windows. Thus, security cameras and other security options are going back in.
